Burnley winger Luca Koleosho has completed a permanent transfer to Paris FC, the Ligue 1 club confirmed on 29 July 2026. The 21-year-old has signed a five-year deal running through to 2031, with reports in France putting the fee at up to €14m including add-ons. It ends a three-year spell at Turf Moor that began when Burnley signed him from Espanyol for £2.6m back in 2023, and brings him back to the club where he spent the second half of last season on loan.
The move completes a rejoin that had been building for months. Koleosho started 2025-26 on loan back at his old club Espanyol before switching to Paris FC in January, and it was that second loan spell that persuaded the French club to make the deal permanent. Sporting director Marco Neppe said Paris FC had been "determined to bring him back", adding: "Luca is young and possesses great qualities; his profile perfectly matches the team's needs." Neppe said he expects Koleosho to "realise his full potential" in Paris and help drive the club forward under head coach Liam Rosenior.
For Burnley, it's another departure from a squad being broken up after relegation from the Premier League. Koleosho made 45 appearances across two seasons at Turf Moor, scoring three goals, and was a regular during the 2024-25 promotion campaign that took the club straight back to the top flight. Scott Parker left as manager by mutual consent once relegation was confirmed, and Koleosho follows Jaidon Anthony, Maxime Esteve, Lesley Ugochukwu, Loum Tchaouna and Quilindschy Hartman out of the door as Burnley trim their wage bill for life back in the Championship.
Koleosho's form on loan is what convinced Paris FC to spend the money. In 18 appearances across all competitions in the second half of last season, he scored three goals and added an assist, while also creating two big chances and hitting the woodwork twice. Paris FC finished 11th in Ligue 1, and Koleosho was a regular contributor down the flank as they pushed into the top half of the table. He is also an established Italy international, having made his senior debut for the Azzurri last summer and started against Greece.
A right-footed winger comfortable on either flank, Koleosho offers pace, direct running and a genuine goal threat from wide areas — qualities Rosenior has looked for as he builds a team that moves the ball forward quickly. Having already spent half a season working inside the squad on loan, he shouldn't need any real settling-in period, and he arrives as Paris FC's sixth signing of the summer as they look to build on last season's mid-table finish.
The fee, reportedly in the region of €10-15m with add-ons, is a significant one for a Ligue 1 club outside France's traditional top bracket, and reflects how highly Paris FC rate Koleosho's ceiling. For Burnley, it is a smaller but still useful injection of funds at a club now focused on rebuilding a squad for a Championship promotion push, having lost several first-team regulars this summer.
