🎓 New to FPL?

What is an FPL gameweek?

A gameweek is Fantasy Premier League's scoring round: 38 of them make a season, one per round of Premier League fixtures. Before each gameweek's deadline (90 minutes before its first kickoff) you set your squad, pick a captain for double points, and make transfers. Once the deadline passes, your team is locked and scores points from the real matches.

The rhythms that matter each gameweek: player prices change overnight based on transfer volume, and the fixture difficulty of the next few gameweeks decides which clubs' players are worth holding. Bawler rebuilds both surfaces every day from the Official FPL API, with the same match-prediction model behind our public track record layered on top. Before any of that, there is the bit everyone in your mini-league sees first — the team name.

FPL is a free fantasy game, not betting — Bawler's FPL pages are pure analytics. For how the underlying match model works, see the methodology page.
